library_rp.jpeg The fact is, Offshore Floatels is quite unlike any operator you have ever encountered.

Offshore Floatels WA is a division of OdysseyVessel Management Pty Ltd.  OVM Pty Ltd and its directors have been managing accommodation and expedition vessels since in 1991

In May 2001 OVM Pty Ltd took delivery of a new build 16m vessel the “Odyssey Abrolhos”. After purchasing this vessel OVM had the flexibility to expand into the commercial arena as well as conducting 10 to 16 day tours to the remote Kimberley.  This 16m vessel found agrowing market servicing commercial moored accommodation for groups up to 12pax.  Enjoying success in this market the business continued to focus on this segment.

This vessel was upgraded in Feb 2006 with the introduction of the 24m vessel “Odyssey”. MV Odyssey caters for 20 guests in a high level of comfort in twin sharerooms with share facilities.  MV Odyssey continues to provide nature based expeditions and moored accommodation to many of WA’s offshore islands including the Abrolhos, the Kimberley, the Montibello’s, Shark Bay, Scott Reef and the Rowley Shoals.  The business continues its growth due to its customer focus, providing personalised, yet professional service.

To best serve the needs of the growing moored accommodation sector, Linton Marine Trust, (of which OVM is trustee) in 2008, purchased a 27m vessel and established “Offshore Floatels WA” to specialise in this field.  The accommodationvessel “MV Oceania” is designed specifically to provide long term moored accommodation. In 2011 another vessel "Reef Prince" a 38m Crowther Cat was purchased and refitted to accommodate 48 personnel.

Offshore Floatels prides itself on its ability to embrace its customer requirements and to develop to meet their requirements. Offshore Floatels strives to achieve the highest level of professional service, ensuring that our commitment to safety and the environment is not compromised in meeting the needs of our customers.

As a service and accommodation provider in a high-risk industry, our reputation is based on the ability of our vessels to meet or exceed the expectations of our customers.  In line with our company policy, safety and environment is given equal consideration to other primary business objectives.
